Bellydance Taster
A one hour introduction to the delights of bellydancing! This workshop is suitable for complete beginners who would like to try out a class before signing up for a course. Learn some moves and get dancing! Taster workshops are held three times a year, before each new term starts. The next workshop will be held before the start of the summer term (date tbc) at the Centre at St Pauls. You don't need to pre-book, just turn up on the night and pay £5.
This workshop is great fun for a birthday party or hen night. Start by getting dressed up (hipscarves, body jewels and glitter provided) then get your hips shaking! Suitable for all ages and levels of fitness, a bellydance party is something a little different that you're sure to remember for a long time. A performance in full costume can also be included. Email Emma with your requirements for a quote.

Make Up For Performance
Whether you're a performer looking to polish your stage look, or simply want to give yourself a makeover, this workshop will teach you simple tips and tricks to transform you into a fabulous diva! Many dancers don't realise quite how much make up they need, but when you get it right it will really enhance your performance. Bring your make up kit, a mirror if you have one (we will also use the studio mirrors), and some make up remover. Don't buy anything special for this workshop, we'll have plenty of time to discuss different products and you can get some recommendations on the day. No need to book in advance, come to the YMCA, Gonville Place on Saturday 4th February from 1:00-2:30. The workshop only costs £5.
Emma has taught specialist workshops at many UK festivals including Fantasia, Celebrating Dance and Gothla. She is available to teach bellydance workshops in a variety of subjects:
