Emma is one of the few full-time professional bellydancers in the UK, specialising in modern Egyptian bellydance. Based in Cambridge, she teaches regular belly dancing classes and workshops around the UK and is renowned for her precise technique, dynamic performances and warm, friendly teaching style. Emma began learning in 1998 and continues to train with top dancers from around the world, constantly seeking inspiration to keep her dancing fresh and exciting. In 2011 she completed Randa Kamel's week long course in Cairo.

Bellydance originates in the folk dances of the Middle East and is an expressive dance that allows your individual personality to shine through. The characteristic movements of bellydance are very natural and work with the body, making it a dance suitable for everyone regardless of age or fitness level. Emma has a JWAAD Teacher Training Diploma and has completed a St John Ambulance first aid course so you can be confidant you are in safe hands! Emma is also the current chair of the JWAAD Teachers Association.

When you come to one of Emma’s courses expect to have fun, to learn and to be challenged! All courses include dance technique, choreography, improvisation and musical and cultural background.
